Going on an Adventure: In the Mountains
“I am looking for someone to share in an adventure.”― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit, or There and Back Again
Words that could never be truer, life is an adventure. While I am always sharing my adventure with the same person, our destination is never the same as we travel the United States. Going to State Parks, National Forest, and National Parks. Capturing images from the highest points to the lowest of valleys. These moments are more the memories of a trip here and there, they are moments of these amazing places that people may have forgotten about or that people fail to see at the right time.
The photography process is two-fold, creating images with a vision in my head of what it will look like. Shooting several images at various locations and capturing different details to make sure the moment, light, and shadows are all where I want them. After processing them in the digital darkroom, finishing touches are made and comes the images that are produced.
I seek the natural wonders of the world, taking me to mountains, rivers, and waterfalls from all around. I want people to see the beauty and moment that I capture for everyone. From the lonely flower to the largest mountain peak.
