In order to expand marketing and publicity for Light Space & Time’s (LST) gallery artists, we have increased our gallery promotions and public relations efforts.
Since our formation in 2010, it has been LST’s intention to promote our gallery artists, to help them be discovered and to assist them in driving traffic to their websites. LST has continually sought new and effective ways in which to promote and market our artists.
Recently, LST became an Artsy.net Gallery Partner. Through this partnership, the gallery can promote on Artsy.net the overall winning artists’ category from our monthly themed art exhibitions. This promotion takes the form of a featured art exhibition on the Artsy.net website.
Each of the 10 overall winning artists will have their winning art, artist statement and website URL featured on Artsy.net in a search engine optimized page with their name and the art exhibition. This Artsy.net post requires the artist to become an Artsy.net artist. This privilege is only afforded to artists who are represented by an art gallery.
Solo Art Exhibition winning artists will also have four pieces of their art featured on the LST Artsy.net page with their press release and their website URL as part of the gallery’s overall prize package.
Artsy.net averages 2 million visitors a month and 46% of Artsy users who purchase art via Artsy started out as art enthusiasts rather than preexisting collectors. By having their artwork displayed on Artsy.net, LST artists gain a distinct advantage in terms of exposure, marketing and SEO (search engine optimization) of their art through the Light Space & Time/Artsy.net gallery partnership. There is no cost to the artists to have this feature and there are no costs or commissions on any sale of their artworks.
LST has expanded their distribution of press releases through Kjprnews.com. Winning artists for each month are promoted and circulated to over 1000+ news outlets (including Premium FOX, CBS, NBC, CW Affiliated Sites), 500 TV & Radio Sites, 250 Regional & Industry Sites and Social Media inclusion through Kjprnews.com.
The winning artists of the Solo Art Series will have a personalized press release distributed by Kjprnews.com to the same news outlets mentioned above.
Winning artists of the Solo Art Series also have their art exhibition results posted and promoted on artweek.com. The monthly group art exhibitions are also promoted and posted on artweek.com. The Artweek website produces 800,000 page impressions per month, 280,000 website visitors per month and has 30,000 newsletter subscribers.
Winning artists each month are promoted extensively in on-line publications. The gallery publicizes the winning artists on document sharing sites, including Calameo, Issuu and SlideShare. These 3 publication sites have a combined total of 2,587,000+ views of the LST gallery’s art exhibition promotions.
Winning artists are marketed and promoted extensively through the gallery’s social media networks including Digg, Facebook, Google+, Google Bookmarks, Linkedin, Pinterest, Stumbleupon, Tumblr, and Twitter.
The gallery continues to provide the artists with materials to display in their portfolios including digital Art Exhibition Event Postcard, an Award Ribbon, Event Press Release and Award Certificates.
Our Art Exhibitions are presented and featured in a YouTube Video on the Light Space & Time YouTube Channel. Gallery artists can link to the channel for marketing and promotional purposes. To date, the gallery’s YouTube Channel has had more than 85,000 video views.
Artist’s artwork featured on the Light Space Time site is exposed to, on average to over 70,000 visitors and 225,000 page views each month. At this time, 80%+ of those are New Visitors. Overall, the art gallery website has had 2,137,000 visitors and a total of 5,822,000+ page views in the last three years.
Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery will continue to create new and innovative ways to market and promote their gallery artists. We have upped our artist marketing game in order to benefit our gallery artists.
