The overall winning artists category consists of the 10 Best Entries received from the 2 media categories.

All winners will now be featured on the Light Space & Time website for the month of March 2012 and thereafter, the artworks and links to the artist’s websites will remain online in the Light Space & Time Archives. Congratulations to our artists who made our “Landscapes” Art Exhibition so successful this month. At any time, we invite our winners and other interested visitors to link their websites to the Gallery’s archive page for further ongoing promotion.

1st Place –  Jasna Bell – “Morning Light”

Jasna Bell paints both contemporary and more traditional themes, depending on the inspiration at the time. As a foreign Lawyer (BA in Law) she worked in Law and the commercial field for many years. Jasna, for years has been harboring a love for art and painting in particular. She is now a full time painter and determined to re-capture the excitement and experience of transition into a new world of art. Dave Henderson is a lifelong resident of New Jersey. Dave developed a passion for painting at an early age. He graduated from Boston University in 1976 with a Fine Arts degree in painting. Upon returning to the New York area, Mr. Henderson worked as an illustrator for over twenty five years. He is now making the journey into fine art. To Emily Hannon, painting is a process of undoing, of being undone, a gradual discovery of meaning, limitations and possibilities and of finding inspiration, solutions and remedies in the materials, objects, encounters and experiences- ‘the stuff’- of ordinary, everyday life. 5th Place – Tomas Green – “Split Rail”

Tomas Green works with Acrylics, Rock, and Photography. He balances his art with the rest of his life, as he is still in High School. He strives to bring the beauty out of the places he’s been. And believes art can exist in the most common of places. Tomas states about his art, “Art has become a passion of mine, though I do not get much time for it. I know however, that I will always keep it on the side as I go into my career and beyond. 6th Place – Vincenzo Corrado – “Tuscan Sunrise”

Vincenzo Corrado, born in Naples in 1961 and he lives in Rome, Italy. His hobby is to create computer drawings. He has always been fond of drawing in pencil and charcoal, tools that give way to express themselves freely. Stephanie Visser, a native of southwestern Michigan, was educated at Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids Michigan. She continued her education in fine arts and painting at Western Michigan University and Pasadena College of Art and Design after relocating to southern California in 2002. For 26 years, Jon has been the owner and operator of Image One Media in Fort Worth, TX, who specializes in photography, video production, and audio-visual presentations. Jon fell in love with photography at age 9, and has received numerous awards for his images. He founded and led the Hope Camera Club for 8 years, and as such has done numerous instructional presentations and training sessions. Abe Blair is a photographer, born and raised in Oregon and currently living in the Foothills of Lake Tahoe, CA. With some formal photography education he has spent the last 12 years shooting professionally focusing on outdoor sports both action and studio product. “Constantly learning and exploring photography while experiencing the outdoors is what keeps me going”.
